Outdoor Activities

We encourage you to explore while visiting Enfield, NC. There are many unique places to enjoy a walk, fish, hike, bike, or even ride on horseback. You may tour the countryside and decompress while seeing cotton, tobacco, and soybean farms. We also have access to forest bathing on our own farm in an untouched old stand of trees, so you can soak in the energy of nature while contemplating life.

Bellamy’s Mill Lake

Take a ride from Bellamy Manor Bed & Breakfast to Bellamy Lake and enjoy one of our kayaks or a canoe.

 

Fishing Creek

One great place to fish or swim is the Fishing Creek at Millpond Dam, which is about 1 mile downstream east of Bellamy Lake. There are many other great spots to fish along Fishing Creek. When was the last time you took a dip in a good ole fashioned swimming hole?

 

Roanoke River

Head to Roanoke River in Weldon, NC for fantastic rockfish fishing, paddling, and a Weldon distillery tour. Voted best barrel proof whiskey in the US!

 

Scotfield Golf

If you’re up for some activity on the green, Scotfield Golf is a great golf course 25 minutes east of Enfield.

 

Fresh Peanuts

Don’t forget to pick up a fresh bag of delicious Aunt Ruby’s Peanuts at the A&B Milling Factory, right here in Enfield at 200 Halifax St.
