Enfield is located less than an hour and 15 minutes east of Raleigh, NC, and less than 45 minutes south of Roanoke Rapids and Lake Gaston. We’re also 20 minutes north of Rocky Mount, NC. We can be easily reached by car, taxi, Amtrak train, or even general aviation aircraft! You can find directions for each method of transportation below.

Enfield is an easy on and off spot from Interstate Route 95 (I-95). Take exit 154, then Route 481 Business will take you straight to our driveway. As a matter of fact, Route 481 Business is Glenview Road, and our driveway is at the intersection of Glenview and Ringwood Road (Route 1002). There’s an Exxon just past the Manor where you can gas up for the next leg of your journey. You can also take Route 301: the main north-south artery that was the only major road before I-95. If you are on Route 301, just turn west at the Hardees (Whitfield Street) into the downtown of Enfield, cross the railroad tracks, and follow Whitfield as it turns to Glenview. It’s all the same road (481 Business), but it takes on different names as it curves through the landscape.

Enfield sits halfway between Roanoke Rapids and Rocky Mount. Amtrak stops at Rocky Mount just 30 minutes away, so you can leave your car at home & we’ll pick you up from the train station. Just let us know in advance and give us a call when you’re on your way! (252) 445-2234
If you prefer to take to the skies, you can fly into Raleigh (RDU) or Richmond (RIC) — both about 1.5 hours and a very easy trip to Enfield. Enfield is about 3 hours from the beach of Nags Head and Kitty Hawk, the home of first air flight.
