A pallette of muted earth tones, moss greens, colors of the garden. Named for the Garden of Ireland, County Wicklow, this room features a 4 poster antique wheat bed with custom draperies and bedding that are reminiscent of old European traditions mixed with the allure of East that was so popular in the 19th century.Bring a copy of James Joyce’s “Araby” and your weekend is complete!

The Wicklow Garden Oasis room has private back and front ground floor entrance to the gardens.  All bedrooms are ensuite.

Filled with antique Asian furniture, you can easily see why the chinoiserie craze swept across Europe and America. The custom draperies are named for Madame Butterfly. The mantle is a fine example of early 20th century chinoiserie from Grandmother Kearon’s house in New York City.Enjoy a lovely brew of China tea while you enjoy the upper veranda.
